This movie has been re-released on blu-ray and visually does not disappoint. Crystal clear picture and sound take this '68 movie phenomenon into the next generation to enjoy.

Buy 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) now at Amazon.comThis movie is definitly not for everyone but if your even a closet sci-fi adventure fan, or havent seen the film since it was released on VHS, you may just want to check it out. The blu-ray edition makes it feel like a brand new movie - its incredible how cleaned up it is.

This review was too short and doesn't go enough into detail for my tastes. Also, for future publications, please make sure to properly capitalize... it makes things look a lot more polished!
