Nothing short of amazing

Now im not much of a racing guy. Not really my cup of tea. But when I first downloaded the GRID demo on my xbox 360 , I immediatly got this for pc.

Having played only a few hours , this should not be considered a full review , but I have to say im quite impressed.

Playing on a low end machine ( hp dv 6000 with 1.67ghz core 2 duo and an 8400m GS) I didnt have a chance to turn graphics up THAT high , but after playing around and turning on all the eye candy , this game seriously rocks your screen. To the motion blur effects or the detailed roads , this game looks like Crysis : Racing. Best looking racing game hands-down. But graphics dont make a game right?Detailed Graphics

Now the Gameplay. Ive only played a few races , but I already love it. It has this sick feature where you can rewind the game a little bit , and choose where you want to restart , up to 5 times. Its fun to watch my car slowly deform as the engine becomes toast , and then rewind it and watch each individual piece come back together. This makes the game easier since you can restart that bad turn you did , and its almost a game itself just to watch those crashes you made in slow motion.

I havent tried multiplayer yet, but im pretty sure its your standard fare of vs.
