Last week, I finally overcame the lazy bug and set up online backups for my most important files. Time and time again, I've read about how important it was to make backups of files, and time and time again the lazy bug came back to bite.

Sure, I dabble in a bit of minor backups, but I haven't done anything serious. At most, I make copies of my most important work-related files. The backups have always been on-site, often on the same computer and -- I'm embarrassed to say -- often on the same hard drive. But these were backups meant mainly to save my data from yours truly and not from anything of the disastrous sort.
